Make your own housewarming invitations sometimes known as open house invitations to welcome family and friends to your new home! A housewarming party is a momentous occasion so it should be celebrated. Selection of housewarming sayings to be found too!
Your open house invitation can still be stylish even if your house is not quite finished and you are surrounded by boxes. If you are artistic, illustrate the front of the invitation with a drawing of a front door or of you and your family outside your new home.
If you have young children, you can even ask them to sketch the house. Children are very arty and have the most fantastic imaginations. Copy their work of art and fix it to the front of the invitation.
Another nice idea is to create a before and after. If you have any photos of the outside of your home when you purchased it, then fix one to the front of the housewarming invitation. Then take a photo of your home as it is now and fix that to the inside of the invitation.
Don't forget to include a map with your invitation as many may have not been to your new home yet.
Another cool and simple invitation idea is to purchase or order cheap keys from your local store. Print all the invitation details on a tag. You can either purchase or make your own tags out of cheap cardstock. Punch a hole in the tag and attach to the key with twine or pretty ribbon.

The ornaments of your house will be the guests who frequent it. ~
May the roof above us never fall in And may we good companions beneath it never fall out.
It takes hands to build a house, but only hearts can build a home.
Where thou art - that - is Home.
