Card Making Embellishments Supplies

If you need scrapbooking advice on which card making embellishments and supplies are available and how they are used then read on. Card making embellishments are things that add a decorative punch to your invitation or card. Beads, stickers, brads and crystals, for example, can all be glued onto your invitations and background paper.

Stickers For Scrapbooking

Stickers for scrapbooking are items I use quite often, but they do tend to work out expensive if you are making a large quantity of invitations. They are worthwhile investing in for smaller quantities. You can purchase decorative motifs or rub on or stick on lettering in a variety of shapes, colours and sizes. Here is an example of Precious Moments Stickers-Baby Boy Phrases

Background Papers

Background papers are available in many patterns. Useful for wedding, baby shower, christmas and other occasions. They are normally sold per sheet. Tend to work out expensive if large quantities are required but perfect for making a simple birthday or baby shower invitation. Check out Cutting Edge Scrapbooking Supplies here.

Rubber Stamping Supplies

Rubber stamping is so popular and no wonder with the huge choice on the market today. Rubbers stamps are so versatile, you will wonder why you never purchased any before. Hero Arts have a huge collection as do Penny Black but please feel free to choose and use your favourite variety. If you are not able to find stamps in your local craft store, then be assured you will find them online.

With rubber stamps and an array of inks, you will soon be creating professional invitations and cards in no time at all. You can also use for printing designs on envelopes, background paper, gift tags and so much more. Once you start stamping, you won't be able to stop. Whats more, you can use them time and time again.

Eyelets and Brads

There are many ways to use eyelets and brads for your invitations. Eyelets are a great way of attaching vellum paper to card and just to let you know they are not just round anymore! New on the market is a pen called the Quicklet which are eylets you can set with a pen.

Brads come in all shapes and sizes, heart, football, ladybug, flip flop and even baby footprint brads. In fact the range is so staggering there are pretty much brads available in every theme you can imagine.

Photo Corners

Photo corners are small paper triangles which are used to secure photos on a page. Canson Photo Corners-White are practical as you don't have to use glue. Useful for photo invitations, baby shower invitations or thank you cards.

Ribbons

Make a bow with ribbons and attach to your handmade invitation. Use for gift tags, creating wedding favors and invitations for all occasions.

These are just a few scrapbook supplies that can be used for creating invitations. There are stencils, decorative scissors, craft paper punches, corner punches, die cut machines and so much more.
